Angela Izzo is an internationally published photographer and award-winning filmmaker known for her distinctive blend of both digital and experimental film techniques. A graduate of Brooks Institute with a BA in Visual Journalism and Documentary Filmmaking, she has crafted a dynamic career capturing innovative visuals across photography, videography, fashion, and live performance.
Izzo’s work spans major media platforms, including collaborations with MTV News, CBS, AOL Travel, We Are Here, Sony, Roc Nation, and others. She has produced video content for designers such as Becca Swim, Lucky Brand, Clare Bare, Soluna, Charlotte Stone, and Laulhère. In music, she has directed videos for artists such as Dolly Parton, Linda Perry, Natasha Bedingfield, Daniel Johnston, Jesse Jo Stark, and Chris Robinson. She has also captured major live events, including the One Love Malibu featuring Gwen Stefani and Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder’s birthday celebration, and the BET Awards after-party, hosted by Erykah Badu.
Her photography has been showcased at the LA Art Show, The Guggenheim, the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (LACDA), and Galerie Tonon in Geneva, Switzerland, along with multiple solo exhibitions in Los Angeles. Beyond galleries, she is a sought-after event and nightlife photographer, capturing the city’s vibrant art and music scenes, from clubs to underground performances. Her work has also been featured in Vice, Playboy, Lomography Magazine and more.
Currently, Izzo is producing and directing “The Benders Circuit,” a documentary exploring Los Angeles’ underground audio-visual performance scene, now available on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
